A River Rolls On
News
THRILLED to announce we are part of a new single by Mike Hanrahan, 'A River Rolls On', along with other household names from Ireland's music industry - Lisa Lambe, Sandy Kelly, ALDOC and Norah Constance Walsh. The song was inspired by Mike's love for his mother who has dementia, and will help raise funds for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland to support creative projects for people with memory loss conditions. The World Premiere was broadcast live on Friday 28th May - following a live Fireside Chat about the song and the importance of Arts in the world of dementia care. Órla Horn Founder and Chair of The Forget Me Nots Organisation, and Graphic Designer Úna Healy who created the artwork, along with senior choir member Dermott Clery and Poet Julie Feeney also gave their perspectives on this beautiful project and the importance of Arts in the world of dementia care. Listen back.
