Fund Raising
The Forget Me Nots Organisation was successfully launched in March 2014 with initial funding support from Fingal Arts Office and Fingal Community Affairs Dept. In May 2017 we became a regulated charity in Ireland - No. 20144661. We rely exclusively on the work of volunteers with the exception of the professional musical direction and piano accompaniment needed to make this choir and its activities possible. The Trustees (drawn from our volunteers) are:

Every penny raised goes directly towards The Forget Me Nots Organisation. These costs include the following:
- Professional Fees such as:
- Musical Direction
- Musical Composition (Harmonies, Arrangements, New Songs)
- Piano Accompanist
- Musicians
- Video & Sound Engineering
- Video Production
- Coach Transport for Events
- Music Fees (eg Scoresheets)
- Hall Rental
- Liability Insurance
- Office Materials (eg Stationery, Lyrics Binders, Songbooks, Ink etc)
- Performance Costs (Venue Bookings etc)
- Event Promotions (eg Flowers, T-Shirts, Small Souvenirs)
- Communication Costs (Zoom Hosting, Website Domain, Hosting & Email - Note: Website & website maintenance donated free)
- Banking Fees
- Choir Costumes
- Light Refreshments (Tea/Coffee/Biscuits)
